| At Provincial Grand Lodge at the Spanish Hall Blackpool W Bro Ernie Gavan retired as Provincial Tyler after an office spanning nine years. |

| During that time he has travelled many thousands of miles in his capacity as Provincial Grand Tyler ( and on most occasions the P.G.Ms driver) and has visited every Lodge ( all 61 Mark and 24 R.A.M. ) in the Province, making sure all the Provincial equipment and regalia was in place for the Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies to undertake Provincial and Team Visits. |
| I thank Ernie for his dedication, detail and at times very humerus manner in which he has undertaken this very important Provincial Office. |

| He will be promoted at Grand Lodge in September to the Rank of Past Grand Junior Deacon, just reward for his dedicated service. |
